Since 11 April 2014, by the order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, was appointed on position of the second deputy head of the Border Police Department - Valentin Fiodorov.

Valentin Fiodorov has a vast experience in areas of surveillance and control of the state border, over the time held various positions within the subdivisions of Border Police, and since June 2013 until present period held the position of the Head of Policy and Assistance Projects Directorate in the Department.

The new Border Police Department Deputy Head was born on December 16, 1980, in the village Gordineştii Noi from Edinet district.

Mr. Fiodorov is a graduate of the Border Guard Academy of the Federal Security Service from Moscow, Russia, and of the National Academy of the State Border Service of Ukraine "Bogdan Khmelniţkhi" from Khmelniţkhi city, Ukraine, and of various professional training courses on the specialty domain.
