The Border Policemen together with police inspectors have documented three persons, who were carrying 775 liters of fuel, for which they could not present any grounded documents.
On July 22 while conducting the activities of surveillance and control of the state border, the patrol of the Border Police Sector Troiţcoe noticed a man as throwing objects - that looked like containers from the train traveling on the route Basarabeasca - Chisinau.
His actions were monitored and shortly after operative informing the colleagues from the Basarabeasca Police Inspectorate and joint assistance at the scene of the act, it was managed to retain two men who were loading containers disposed in a car of model VAZ. The persons turned to be residents of the city Basarabeasca, aged 26 and 37 years.
At the control done over the vehicle it were discovered 23 containers that contained 575 liters of viscous liquid corresponding to diesel smell and color. In the first investigation, the men said the train engineer provide them with fuel, which was subsequently sold. The case is still being investigated by police officers of Basarabeasca to establish all the circumstances and identify the persons involved in the illegal activity.
In the second case, a Ford Transit, driven by a Moldovan aged 43 years, based on intelligence information, was stopped for control in the village Talmaza. The investigation officers of the Eastern Regional Directorate of Border Police in cooperation with Stefan Voda police inspectors conducted several checks on the vehicle, after which they found four metal barrels, of 200 liters each. At the search of the recipients it was discovered that two of them contained 200 liters of fuel. From the driver's words the diesel was brought from Transnistria and went to be sold in Stefan Voda market. The entire quantity of diesel was raised to seizure and passed under the police powers to the Inspectorate of Stefan Voda.
