As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:

As a result of carrying out specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 31 March – 6 April 2014, revealed and documented 114 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:

Five men, a Moldovan and four Ukrainians were detained by Border Police officers for illegal border crossing of the Moldovan- Ukrainian border.

An employee of the Border Police, Natalia Budu succeeded to get a bronze medal, at the category of 53 kg, at the European Championship at Wrestling, Female Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, which runs from 29 March to 7 April in Vantaa, Finland.
