The Risk Analysis Unit of Border Police has developed and recently released annual report on operational activities for 2013.
In fact, the respective document summarizes the results of the state border surveillance and control for the reference period. The report itself contains indicators, statistical and operational data observed and documented in comparison with 2012. Generally, the indicators provide a picture of the operational situation in both - border crossing points, as well as on the "green" segment of border.
The report is made of two parts. The first part contains an operational analysis of the main operational indicators per system, as well as the flow of persons and vehicles, non-authorization of the state border crossing, countering violations of border legislation, etc. The second part contains a summary and analysis of the principal risks at border, exercise based on data and indicators. Particularly, the analysis covers the illegal migration phenomenon, smuggling of cigarettes and illegal entry / exit in/out of Moldova of the transport units.
