The Border Police from the checkpoint Chisinau Airport not allowed the entry into the country to three Sri Lankan, because they traveled with Malaysian passports, falsified.
On July 15, among the passengers arrived by air route Istanbul - Chisinau were presented three foreigners who were legitimized at the border control with passports issued by the Malaysian authorities. They said they came to Moldova for tourism purposes. From the first verification of the documents submitted, the border policemen felt suspicions regarding the authenticity of the passports, which were subject to additional verification. As a result of careful examination with the aid of special equipment, the border policemen managed to prove counterfeiting the documents, which questioned as well their statements regarding the purpose of the visit of RM.
At the same time, given the continued investigation of the case, it was established that it was about three citizens of Sri Lanka - mother and daughter, aged 43 and 27, and a man of 33 years old. In discussions, the Sri Lanka citizens admitted that they wanted to go to France.
The false documents were raised, and migrants were not allowed to enter the country, the border policemen taking the decision to return them to the initial point of embarkation in accordance with legal provisions.
