As a result of carrying out specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 17 – 23 March 2014, revealed and documented 130 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:

- 17 persons for illegal crossing or attempt to cross the border illegally;
- 51 persons for violation of border area regime and border crossing points regime;
- 8 persons for presenting of false documents;
- 21 foreign citizens for violation of rules of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
- 6 cases of illegal border crossing of the state border of material goods;
- 27 persons in conflict with law and two transport means under confinement were detained at the border crossing points, as a result of information exchange of national and international law enforcement authorities.
The flow of people crossing the state border was about 207 000 persons, and transport traffic flow recorded over 48 000 of transport means units.
