Drivers stopped at the border for use of false documents

IMAG0464Two Moldovans tried to cross the border with transport means, based on forged documents.

This morning, at the exit from the country through theborder crossing point Tudora was presented for necessary border formalities a citizen of the Republic of Moldova. He was driving a truck of model MAN TGS1840, with Moldovan registration numbers. During the verification of the documents, the Border Policemen found that the driving license showed signs of falsification, thus subject to further investigation. After the control, it was confirmed that the driving license was a counterfeit one. The driver, a young man from Străşeni, aged 27, declared that he was not aware of the false detected, the document being perfected via a driving instructor.
Another Moldovan was detained at the checkpoint Giurgiuleşti, he presented for the car he was driving a falsified Bulgarian power of attorney. On occasion of the checking of the notary empowerment, issued on behalf of a resident of Vulcăneşti, the border inspectors have reported some changes, with the suspicion that the document was forged. Thorough checks have shown that this was really false. The vehicle of model BMW, registered in Bulgaria, was located on the territory of the Border Police Sector Giurgiuleşti.
In both cases, the investigation is ongoing in order to establish the circumstances that led to the commission of the offense and liable to attract the persons involved.
