As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:
- 1 person crossed fraudulently the state border;
- 2 persons violated the border area regime;
- 5 foreign nationals exceeded the legal term of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
- 4 persons in conflict with law and a transport mean under confinement were detained within the border crossing points, as a result of the information with law enforcement authorities of the national and international rules of law.
According to data provided by the Regional Directorates of the Border Police, the activity of the border crossing points of wharf type "Cosauti - Iampoli" and "Soroca - Tekinovka" is further ceased due to the formation of ice bodies on the river Dniester.
