For three days, within the Border Police Department, was held the training course on theme "Modern training methods". This activity was organized with the support of EUBAM and in the role of moderators participated the experts from Austria, Brigadier General Karlheinz Dudek and the pro-rector of the Police Academy in Vienna, Peter Lamplot.
The topics discussed during the working sessions aimed directly the modern training methods, particularly, the participants informing each other with experience exchange in staff training through e-learning method, the European practice and standards of training of specialists for the Border Police, Police and Customs Service. In this context, there was reiterated the importance of appliance in border institutions of new training techniques that aim at increasing the level of the initial and continuing training based on a performance system, according to the international requirements and practices in the field.
On the last day of training participated the Head of EUBAM Office Chisinau and the representative of Austrian Embassy in Chisinau. At the same time, the participants thanked their foreign partners for their assistance and support in the implementation of this course, a necessary and helpful one for the border institutions.
The course ended with the establishment of direct contacts between the participants – the representatives of the Border Police, Customs Service, State Border Service of Ukraine and EUBAM Mission.
