| Short description | Objective: to develop sustainable tools and mechanisms to prevent and fight against illegal migration, enhance capabilities and analytical/practical skills, and transfer know-how and expertise in the area related to the management of illegal migration. The project also aims to strengthen the relevant central and local authorities’ capacities to detect inland illegal migrants; increase the capacities of the law enforcement and judiciary to deal with cases related to illegal migrants through a human-rights based approach; and facilitate the negotiation of readmission agreements with a selected number of third countries. |
