As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:
- 4 persons infringed the border regime;
- 1 person used false documents;
- 1 person attempted to pass illegally over the state border the goods;
- 6 foreign citizens exceeded the legal term of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
- 6 persons in conflict with law were detained at the border crossing points, as a result of the information exchange with national and international law enforcement authorities;
According to the data got from Regional Directorates of the Border Police, at the border crossing points, at the entry and at the exit from the country there is an increase in the flow of the persons and of the transport means.
