The Sporting activities in the Border Police, in 2014, continued with internal table tennis championship. The sports competition was held on last weekend in specialized hall for table tennis of MSU.
The competition enrolled 42 Border Policemen from all subdivisions of the institution.
Each participant in the contest was presented in the best shape, but finally four players impressed with their play, who have played the semifinals and finals. And so, the winner of the competition was Iurie Levinţa, followed in second place by Stanislav Calaşnicov and Dumitru Baes, who reached the third step of the podium.
In the ranking according to teams the employees of the Western Regional Directorate managed to be the best, ranking the first place despite the resistance opposed to other sports teams.
Also the Border Policemen from the Northern Regional Directorate were very ambitious, managed to win the silver medal, the bronze went to Southern Regional Directorate.
All participants received great pleasure from this active and spectacular competition. The winners were congratulated with the victory gained and awarded with medals, cups and diplomas.
The next sports competition of the Spartakiada 2014 sports shall be held in August at softball.
