Border Police in cooperation with Ukrainian counterparts respects strictly and precisely the Moldovan-Ukrainian agreements in border field.
It should be mentioned that the Border Police performs information exchange with State Border Service of Ukraine in the framework of the established bilateral treaties, in strict compliance with the national legislation. The information provided is of statistical and analytical character, but in no way it represents the personal data, exception is made for the personal data on persons who are suspected of committing the border infringements.
The representatives of the State Border Service of Ukraine do not control any objects on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, either directly or through intermediate means. We shall reiterate that the information in some mass media about “the involvement of the Ukrainian border guards in the control of Chisinau Airport" has been misinterpreted and do not corresponds to the Ukrainian official statements, this fact was confirmed within the telephone conversation between the leadership of the Border Police and South Regional Directorate of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
