The Border Police officers in common with Customs officers revealed several grams of vegetable origin mass similar to marijuana, which a young man was planning to take out the country. The narcotic substance was concealed in man’s personal luggage.
On the evening of March 16, at the border crossing point Sculeni was presented for specific control at exit from country a Moldovan citizen, aged 23. His agitated behavior aroused suspicions at joint team of control resulting in an extended verification of the person and his baggage. During the detailed examination were found in one backpack pockets two bags, where was hidden a green vegetable substance, similar to marijuana, about 6 grams of narcotic substance.
Based on the findings, the young man was left with a fine in amount of 1,500 MDL, according to Art.287, paragraph 10 - Offences Code of RM.
