As a result of cooperation between the border policemen and the local population there was prevented an incident situation in the border area. On July 3, a few men of the village Palanca alerted the employees of the Border Police Sector Tudora, that in the strip of the forest, at 800 meters from the state border line, was identified an artillery shell.
Rapidly, a patrol went to the place of explosive object detection, where its presence was confirmed. Onsite were called the employees of the Civil Protection and Emergency Situations and jointly determined that the shell belonged to the mortar launcher, with the caliber of 82 mm.
Until the arrival of demolition specialists, who defused the object, the border policemen guarded explosives.
