As a result of carrying out of the specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 27 October – 2 November 2014, revealed and documented 125 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:
- 5 persons for illegal crossing or attempt to cross the border illegally;
- 33 persons for violation of border area regime, as well as that of the BCPs;
- 6 persons for presenting of false documents;
- 7 cases of illegal state border crossing of the material goods;
- 55 foreign citizens for violation of rules of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
- 19 persons in conflict with law and 10 transport units under confinement were detained at the border crossing points, due to information exchange.
During the reporting period, the border policemen have not authorized the border crossing to 100 persons, including 67 at the exit of the country, they presented for control invalid travel documents, with expired term or they lacked the necessary documents.
The flow of people crossing the state border was about 286 000 persons and the transport traffic flow recorded approximately 67000 of transport means units.
