5 cases of border legislation disregard

cutuWithin the last 24 hours, the Border Police officers countered several cases of border regime violation, when six Moldovans were fined for illegal fishing or illegal collecting of ferrous items and two Iraqis for the rest within the border area without the permission to stay in the area.

In the first cases, three Moldovan citizens aged 39 and 65 were detained by Border Police officers within the areas of responsibility of Border Police Sectors Brinza, Soroca, Cahul, for border regime breach and illegal practice of fishing. To these persons were issued records and fines worth 10 c.u. for each of them. Other three persons were caught by the inspectors at the Moldovan Border Police Sector Leuşeni while collecting metal in the border area, their attempt was classified as dilapidation of property. The men got a fine worth 200 MDL for breach of the border area regime.
Similarly, on 12 March the investigations officers of the Border Police Sectors Frasinesti and Valea Mare in order to exploit operational information have launched a specific action on countering illegal migration within Grozesti village perimeter, Nisporeni district. As a result, 50 meters from the border, were found three persons who justified their presence in the border area as being at rest. The Border Police officers established that the men were two Iraqi nationals, aged 23 and 32, and one Moldovan national aged 31.

With respect to persons detained were made protocols under Article 332, paragraph 1 of the Offences Code (violation of state border regime, the border zone regime, the regime of border crossing points of the state border and state border crossing rules).
NOTE : Border Police appeals to all interested persons willing to be in the border area to show a conscientious attitude to the existing rules, in order to have a legal access and to not create divergences in relation to Border Police officers.
