The dental tools and syringes were discovered by Border Police officers in the train Chisinau - Bucharest. The medical devices were found at a Ukrainian national, being hidden under clothes. The case was registered last week at the BCP Ungheni.
The Ukrainian woman aged 66, was detained while performing the specific border control at the state border crossing. Woman’s nervous behavior awoke suspicions at the border inspectors, therefore, it was taken the decision to extend the verifications.
Thus, while questioning the person, the Ukrainian citizen, voluntarily presented the 12 items of metal alloy, with a length of about 12 cm, with inscription" НСТф 300 ", hidden on the abdomen and from the leg were taken off 12 syringes filled with an unknown substance, of dark blue color.
The detainee told to Border Police officers that these objects had to be sent to her daughter, a student at Stomatology faculty in Romania.
The case is still being investigated by the Special Investigation officers of the Western Regional Directorate.
