Within the period 27 June - 3 July 2016 at the crossing points was noted a significant increase in the number of crossings of the state border. The flow of persons was 412 568 crossings, with 4.79% more than the previous week and the traffic of transport units showed a value of 91 685 crossings, increasing by 3.3% compared to last week.
Tuesday 14 June, EUBAM donated eight vehicles to Moldova’s Border Police and Customs Service, in a ceremony at the headquarters of Moldova’s Border Police. The event was attended by Ambassador Andrew Tesoriere, Head of EUBAM, acting Head of the Moldovan Border Police, Mr. Ianus Erhan and Head of the Moldovan Customs Service, Mr. Vitalie Vrabie.

Today, March 30, at around 15.30, the officers of Personnel Inspection Directorate within the Border Police Department jointly with representatives of the National Anti-Corruption Centre and Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office arrested in flagrante delicto, an employee of the Regional Directorate West at the moment of extortion of the amount of 600 euro.
